Shawsheen Firearms Hunting Competition Rules
- To enter the competition, you must purchase a firearm within the calendar year. 1/1/2024-12/31/2024.
- To receive a ticket in the drawings for the prize you must be successful in harvesting a legal game animal. The type of game animal harvested will determine how many tickets will be awarded.
- Any breaking of state or federal rules/laws during your hunt will disqualify you from the competition. You must have a valid hunting permit for the state your hunting in.
- To validate your success and to receive your tickets for the drawing you must follow these easy steps. 1: A picture of you and your game animal must be taken in the field where you harvested the animal. (Pictures at the check-in station, house, road etc. will not be accepted) 2: Send in the picture before 12/31/2024.
- Photos will be posted on Shawsheen Firearms website. Photos can be sent by email ([email protected]).
- The drawing will be held in store at Shawsheen Firearms. Anyone involved in the competition is encouraged to come for the drawing. The date is TBA but will be within the first 2 weeks of January 2025.
- There will be multiple ways to receive bonus tickets for this competition as well. All the same rules will apply for any bonus game animal harvested.
Ticket
The ticket amounts are based off the difficulty to harvest each animal. Only 1 animal per species will be counted. (Example: you kill 10 ducks. Only 1 duck will be counted)
- Antlerless, Spike Whitetail- 1 Ticket
- 6 Point Buck or more- 2 Tickets
- Drop Tine Whitetail- 3 Tickets
- Turkey- 2 Tickets
- Predators (Coyote, Bobcat etc..) -3 Tickets
- Black Bear-3 Tickets
- Waterfowl (Any)- 3 Tickets
- Upland bird (Any)- 3 Tickets
- Small Game – 1 Ticket
- Any other North American Big Animal- 3 Tickets
Bonus Tickets
You will be able to score bonus tickets during this competition. See list below
- Every gun purchase (within 1/1/2024-12/31/2024) will earn you 1 bonus ticket, but you still must be able to harvest a legal animal to receive them.
- Harvesting a game animal with a gun you purchased from Shawsheen Firearms (within 1/1/2024-12/31/2024) will earn you 10 bonus tickets. (TO VALIDATE YOUR FIREARM, MAKE AND MODEL, YOU MUST HAVE IT CLEARLY, IN THE PICTURE WITH YOU AND THE ANIMAL TAKEN)
- Harvesting multiple species will earn you bonus tickets.
Species Bonuses
- 2 Species- 3 bonus tickets
- 3 Species- 5 bonus tickets
- 4 Species- 8 bonus tickets
- 5 or more Species- 15 bonus tickets
All rules apply to receive bonus tickets
There will be 3 drawings, so that will give you 3 chances to win.
First 2 Drawings will be product giveaways.
Grand Prize Drawing will be $500 Shopping Spree in store.
Bonus Bragging Rights Prize- A vote will be held for best picture of you with your trophy. The winning picture will be displayed in store for the year.
