Shawsheen Firearms Hunting Competition Rules
- ENTRY: The $25 Entry fee can be paid in store or over the phone by card.
- To receive a ticket in the drawings for the prize you must be successful in harvesting a legal game animal that was taken in 2026. The type of game animal harvested will determine how many tickets will be awarded.
- Any breaking of state or federal rules/laws during your hunt will disqualify you from the competition. You must have a valid hunting permit for the state your hunting in.
- To validate your success and to receive your tickets for the drawing you must follow these easy steps. 1: A picture of YOU with your game animal must be taken. (preferably in the field where you harvested the animal) 2: Send in the picture before 12/31/2026.
- Photos will be posted on Shawsheen Firearms website. Photos can be sent by email ([email protected]).
- The drawing will be held at Billerica Rod and Gun Club (216 Pond Street). Date is TBA.
- There will be multiple ways to receive bonus tickets for this competition as well. All the same rules will apply for any bonus game animal harvested.
Ticket
The ticket amounts are based off the difficulty to harvest each animal. Only 1 animal per category will be counted. (Example: you kill 10 ducks. Only 1 duck will be counted)

- Antlerless or Spike Whitetail- 1 Ticket
- 4 or 5 Point Buck- 2 Tickets
- 6 or 7 Point Buck- 3 Tickets
- 8 or 9 Point Buck- 4 Tickets
- 10 or More Point Buck- 6 Tickets
- Drop Tine Whitetail- 10 Tickets
- Turkey- 6 Tickets
- Predators (Coyote, Bobcat etc..) -10 Tickets
- Black Bear-8 Tickets
- Waterfowl (Any)- 8 Tickets
- Upland bird (Any)- 6 Tickets
- Small Game – 2 Tickets
- Any other North American Big Animal- 6 Tickets
- African Game- 5 Tickets
- Any other country- 5 Tickets
Bonus Tickets
You will be able to score bonus tickets during this competition. See list below
- Every gun purchase (within 1/1/2026-12/31/2026) will earn you 1 bonus ticket, but you still must be able to harvest a legal animal to receive them.
- Harvesting a game animal with a gun you purchased from Shawsheen Firearms (within 1/1/2026-12/31/2026) will earn you 10 bonus tickets. (TO VALIDATE YOUR FIREARM, MAKE AND MODEL, YOU MUST HAVE IT CLEARLY, IN THE PICTURE WITH YOU AND THE ANIMAL TAKEN)
- Harvesting multiple categories will earn you bonus tickets. (multiple animals from the same category does not earn more you more tickets. 1 animal per category)
Category Bonuses
- 2 categories- 3 bonus tickets
- 3 categories- 5 bonus tickets
- 4 categories- 8 bonus tickets
- 5 or more categories- 15 bonus tickets
Drawings
The entry fee money is used to purchase the prizes. The quality of the prizes depends on how many entries we recieve. Please get friends and family involved. The more people the better.
